The University of Cincinnati’s Continuing Medical Education (UC-CME) program is dedicated to providing continuing education for physicians and other health care professionals. Our efforts are intended to help improve the quality of patient health by implementing strategies to identify and narrow the gaps between current and optimal clinical performance and patient outcomes. UC-CME supports the mission of the larger UC Academic Health Center by training health care professionals to enhance and improve the quality of life for people everywhere as they discover, teach, and apply knowledge in the health sciences.
The goal of the UC-CME program is to promote improvement of the life-long learning skills among physicians so that they may be better able to assess their own education needs and to identify useful and effective strategies to meet those needs.
UC-CME is accrediting Optimizing Primary Care for Patients with Rare Diseases for 5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
